At 321ski we are fortunate and proud of our team that we have assembled - both in resorts and in the UK.

All of our staff are former-teachers, and we recruit only those that have had experience in leading school ski trips for the state, academy or private sectors. That way we believe we can talk to our client schools with real authority and advise based upon our own experiences - and not a profit margin sheet!

We are the only tour operator in the UK to be able to do so.

1. Our Managing Director: Senior Management

Our Director, Toby Weeden, is a qualified teacher with over 15 years experience in both the private and state sectors. 321ski was founded by Toby in 2007 in a bid to improve the quality and integrity of ski trips on offer to schools.

Toby's last post was of Director of Sport at a state school in Buckinghamshire. He has led numerous ski trips as lead teacher to major resorts across both USA and Europe.

Prior to teaching Toby served as a Royal Air Force Officer.

2. Accounts: Regional Sales

321ski employ a number of staff whom are regional to our schools. All of these staff have either teaching or coaching experience, and have visited our resorts to allow them to speak with authority.

With their shared and varied backgrounds of both skiing and educational experience local schools appreciate our honest guidance - dependent upon Key Stage, ability and budgets.

Fortunately 321ski do not have Clubhotels or pre-committed beds so as a company we will advise you on your agenda and requirements, not ours.

3. In-Resort Staff

Every year we recruit seasonal staff to support our ski trips. Our selection process is both competitive and elitist; we only recruit those that display the characteristics of integrity and commitment.

All our seasonal staff have extensive experience with children, the majority being qualified teachers or those due to start teacher training. In other cases the successful applicants are typically instructors for overseas expedition companies or Cadet Force staff.

At 321ski we are proud to have been audited, examined and subsequently awarded full assured membership of the School Travel Forum. The School Travel Forum is a body of leading school travel providers dedicated to providing high quality school trips.

To ensure our health and safety standards are maintained, our systems and procedures are fully audited annually by independent experts. School Travel Forum membership is the benchmark for good school tour providers; consequently it is an Awarding Body for the prestigious Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge.

Learning Outside of the Classroom

The Outdoor Education Advisors Panel (OEAP) endorses the Quality Badge and requests Local Authorities to recommend the use of Badged Providers and require the minimum of additional paperwork where Quality Badge accreditation is in place.

This means that you can book your trip with confidence, meet your due diligence and reduce the amount of External Provider paperwork necessary.
