13th century Zell am See sits in probably one of the beautiful settings in Austria and offers fantastic skiing for any school group.
The resort 321ski ski pass offers 3 different ski areas: Schmittenhohe, Maiskogel and the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier.
Nestled in the Kaprun Valley the town is dominated by the large lake at its base. This transforms into a natural gigantic skating rink in the winter. Zell am See, Schuttdorf and Kaprun towns all offer walking access to one of the ski areas; the other ski areas are reachable within minutes by free ski bus.
The skiing season starts early autumn and extends into early summer.
On the Kitzsteinhorn glacier you can ski for ten months of the year. Zell am See caters equally for snowboarders, with a 130m half pipe and fun park providing further thrills.
This ski area is a great destination for schools with an established town and extensive facilities.
