Vallnord is a resort made up of the Pal Arinsal and Arcalis ski areas. Both ski areas are used for our school ski trips with doorstep hotels, hot lunches on piste and ski schools with ski lockers all in one place.

Our schools start in Arinsal which is a purpose built ski resort and ideal for beginners and intermediates. Shops, restaurants and other amenities are all located together in this area and it's an ideal environment for pupils' accelerated learning. Recent investment has also provided for the new gondola over to Pal and La Massana which allows further differentiation for those more able.

Arcalis is an additional ski area that challenges the more experienced skiers. The ski area is only accessible by a short coach ride but schools find it an invaluable part of their ski trip. Wide pistes across varying terrain and more technical stages will test the most able of pupils in Arcalis.

Another important part of the resort which shouldn't be overlooked (particularly by the teachers!) is the tax free shopping...
