Obertauern is different to many other Austrian resorts.
A purpose built ski village, Obertauern ticks all of the boxes for skiing convenience and in a more modern context.
The slopes and lifts circle the village which schools have found to be useful in keeping track of their groups. All routes essentially take the pupils home!
Fast chairs feature extensively and the resorts and slopes are at high altitude - guaranteeing decent snow every time. Lifts are staggered either side of the valley, making it easy to get skiing quickly.
Beginner pupils can start on the nursery slopes lower down, whilst the more proficient can make their way up the mountan; the higher you go the more technical the run.
Our accommodation options are all within easy reach of the lifts. Night skiing features twice a week and snowboarders will appreciate the dedicated fun parks.
