Megeve is a substantial resort covering 445kms in its own reliable snow micro-climate thanks to being in the shadow of Mt Blanc.
Megeve is 10km down the road from Chamonix and covers three main ski areas: Mont D'arbois, Rochebrune and Le Jaillet. All three areas combine to offer 445kms of finely groomed piste whcih is served by 79 lifts.
Megeve is a little known secret and not overly popular with British ski groups. This means that our school groups experience less queues and more teaching in their lesson times than in many other French resorts.
The typically cobbled French village not only is big enough for bowling and ice skating for our school ski trips in the evening, but the town itself is entirely pedestrianised with traffic banned.
Most of the skiing takes place in stunning treelines and this also protects groups during poor weather. Couple this with the fact that the pistes, pisteur groomers and lift attendants are known as being amongst the best in the world, and you have a first class resort to stay in and ski.
With its snow sure micro-climate from Mt Blanc the resort of Megeve is a safe choice for our groups from mid December through to late April.
