“You have the best #reps in the business” x 8 #schools this February
Well done and thank you to the #skireps. No less than 8 schools told us independently that their 321ski reps were going above and beyond our competitors in their experiences as trip leaders.
That’s probably because we only employ:
1. Teachers with QTS
2. School Expedition Leaders that are completely familiar with school trips
No other company does this to the best of our knowledge. And that’s because 321ski is run by former teachers completely in line with safeguarding principles.
Morzine – great destination for #schoolskitrips but why?
Not many people know it, but #Morzine offers over 650km of high altitude skiing, and evening activities are walkable.
Exclusive, yes, but a real French experience…
Interesting facts:
1. Morzine is home to the annual French Mountain Villages fooball tournament. Some say the much coveted trophy is worth more than life itself…
2. Morzine is 1000m above sea level, with the sole exceptions of Mt Drouzin and Grand Terche

Canadian resorts in Alberta at full throttle! Jasper #marmotbasin #schoolskitrips
The snow started falling heavily in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 15 and did not let up until late afternoon the same day depositing 31 cm of fresh snow on the slopes. A whopping 65 cm has fallen at Marmot Basin in just 4 days.
“The snow could not have come at a better time”, said Rob Ellen, Marmot Basin’s mountain manager. “We opened on Saturday 14 November with good skiing on 6 runs in the lower mountain. On our second day of operation we got walloped by a huge snow blizzard and now we will get most of the mountain open, and it is only November 16”, he added.
Last season Marmot Basin had some of, if not the very best snow conditions in all of North America. Early indications are looking good, and we are hoping for a repeat this season! The high base elevation and location in the northern Rockies gives us an advantage when it comes to getting consistently good snow conditions, even when temperatures are forecast to be warmer than normal, such as is the case during an El Nino year. We don’t get rain at our elevation, we get dry snow, perfect for powder skiing!
Kicking Horse gets huge kicking of snow #schoolski #kickinghorse #schoolskitrip
Kicking Horse Mountain Resort received the most snowfall in British Columbia, Canada this week. 161 cm, 63″ or 5.25 ft of blower snow has fallen giving KHMR top to bottom waist deep skiing. The November to Remember they said. In fact every hashtag out of Golden, BC has said it this week. And for good reason. The most recent 52 cm storm, bringing up to 10.5 cm (4″) per hour, has brought KHMR’s base to a whopping 238 cm, NEARLY 9 FEET!
This has allowed the resort to have it’s EARLIEST OPENING DAY EVER. November 28th, 2015 will kick off the 15/16 season and it’s sure to be one to remember. This is great news for our school groups travelling to Kicking Horse!
