Loon boasts an incredible 97% of snow making and couple this with a decent, interesting ski area that has easy access, and Loon continues to be a winner with our 321ski groups.

Loon boasts a vertical drop of 2100ft with 56 different trails cascading down form the 3050ft summit. Similar to neighbouring Cannon, the Loon Montain Resort has had recent multi-million dollar investments in a bid to get the most out of their sizeable 354 acres. Since 2010 the resort has invested $3 million in adding 650 snow cannons designed to operate in marginal temperatures.

Further investment has already provided four snow parks at varying levels of construction. It is certainly an exciting time to ski Loon!

The newest peak of Loon, the South Peak area, boasts in itself 7 long trails, 2 lifts and 70 acres of skiing and boarding pistes.

In total Loon has 61 trails and 370 skiable acres. 322 acres of the 370 have snowmaking equipment. This means that all of our school groups can be sure of decent snow.

With the neighbouring ski resorts of Cannon and Waterville close by our 321ski school ski trip packages typically involve 2 further days at another resort to add that extra quality to your week away.
